Sunday afternoon June 12th at approximately 3:30pm, a three car wreck occurred in the intersection of Hwy 49 and Hwy 28W also known as the McDonald’s red light in Magee. Emergency personnel from AMR and Magee Volunteer Fire Dept assisted the Magee Police Department with this accident. According to witnesses, at least three were transported to hospitals. Helicopter landed in the North bound lane causing traffic to backup in all directions.
