Sweet and precious Linda Parish died during the early morning hours Sunday. Linda has been sick for several years…but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a woman fight so hard…trust so long…and never become bitter about her illness. Linda has always been special to me. She was supportive of me during a time others seemed to pass judgement…and I will always be grateful to the kindness she showed to me. Linda has been the teacher to a great group of women at FBC. Her faith in her family, church, and friends was unquestionable. My heart is sad…but women like Linda show others the true meaning of a Christian woman.
Visitation is 5-7 Monday night at Tutor Funeral Home…and at FBC Magee Sanctuary Tuesday from 9am till the 10 AM funeral.
As soon as I have arrangements concerning the family meal, I will post.
