Mrs. Letisha Michelle Craft Pittman, 41, of Tylertown, MS, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at The Myrtles Nursing Home in Columbia, MS.
Letisha was born in Flowood, MS on September 2, 1980 and was the daughter of Mr. Charles Craft and Mrs. Anita Holyfield Craft. She was the Pastor’s wife of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church Carter’s Creek. She has stood beside her husband for over 18 years in the ministry and she loved her life living for and serving the Lord. During that time, she has taught Sunday school, worked with the youth, lead and sang in the choir, and lead women’s ministry. She just had a heart for the church and the kingdom of God. Her motto that she lived by and was known by was, “Just be Jesus to people”. She was a people person and never met a stranger. Every year, she held something at her home called “Christmas Open House”, and the whole community would be invited and she cooked and opened her home to so many people. Her family meant everything to her and she cherished each moment spent with them all. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt and friend. God and her family were her world. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Craft; one sister, Lindsey Craft Walley; her maternal grandparents, Carl and Mary Holyfield, and her paternal grandfather, William Craft.
She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Bro. Andrew Pittman of Tylertown, MS; her children, Blayde Pittman, Makensie Pittman, Jax Pittman, and Jace Pittman; her mother, Anita Holyfield Craft of Magee, MS; her brother, Daniel Craft of Magee, MS; her paternal grandmother, Doris Craft Harnage of Magee, MS, her mother-in-law, Trubie Bedwell of Biloxi, MS, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Bill Johnston, Mitch Pittman, Brandon Wilborn, Tony Darden, Tyler Brown, Jeremy Wilborn, Tim Ricks, and John Amory Darden.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Craft, Peyton Walley, O’Darrion Pittman, and La’Damion Pittman.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 12PM until of service at 2PM at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church Carter’s Creek with Bro. Millard Moak and Bro. Rudy Jackson officiating and Sharkey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A burial will follow in the church cemetery.
