Mr. Wayne White, 88, of Smith County, Mississippi, passed peacefully from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Monday, May 4, 2020. He was born Monday, May 18, 1931, in Mize, Mississippi.

A private family Graveside Funeral Service will be on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Sharon Presbyterian Cemetery with military rites. Bro. Barry Warren and Bro. Gary Roberts will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Mr. White was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, and brother.  He served our country in the United States 82nd Airborne Army.  He was a faithful member of Shady Grove Church of God.   He was a man of few words and if you knew him he never complained about anything.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of sixty-five years, Sue White; parents, James Andrew and Nonnie Pearl Mangum White; Grandchild, Chase White; one sister, Gertrude White Lanier; and two brothers, Edward T. White and James Gary White.

Survivors include eight children, Belinda Evans (Don), Andy White (Lynn), Sondra Glenn (Johnny), Pennie Sasser (Ronnie), Joey White (Tammy Ann), Chuck White (Janice), Tom White (Tammy), David White (Michelle); twenty-three Grandchildren, Christie Ogden (Ashley), Ashley Dunn (BJ), Judd Evans, Skyler White (Lacey), Corey White (Haley), Brandie White, Jonathan Glenn (Criss), Matthew Glenn (Christy), Jacob Mullins (Jamie), Luke Mullins (Michelle), Whitney Pace (Jonathan), Cassidy Berry (Wesley), Joseph White (Katherine), Landon White (Kassidy), Len Street (Michelle), Makayla Bavido, Tristan White, Sabrinah White, Colby White, Cassie White, Amber Parmenter (Jeff), Chelsea White and fiancée Trey Raffanti III, Chandler White; numerous great- grandchildren; one great-great-child; one sister, Sue White Bulger; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons.
