More than 1.9 million Mississippians are registered to vote in the upcoming election.  Census data estimates the State’s eligible voting age population to be about 2.2 million.

Circuit Clerks’ Offices must be in receipt of absentee ballots returned by mail by 5 p.m. today. For military and overseas voters, absentee ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5.

Polls are open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Any voter in line at 7 p.m. is entitled to cast a ballot.  Voters can find their polling place and a sample ballot by visiting the Secretary of State’s Polling Place Locator.
