I imagine many many parents felt like Monday Madness as school began today. I just can’t believe how fast these precious children in Simpson County are growing up!!! Hope everyone had a good day and will have a great week at school.

Sirens were flying by my house today following the motorcycle/car wreck on the frontage road near Wendy’s. I still have not gotten and update on the wreck. Often info can not be shared until a full report is submitted…so I’m just saying…I’m waiting!

Late afternoon the wreck at Legion Lake occurred. We kept the ambulances busy today…..but I understand the car flipped…hit the water and the airbags deployed knocking out the windows which allowed the passengers in the  vehicle to swim out of their car…that is scary…

Our area college students have moved or are preparing to move to their “new” home …prayers for all. When your “baby” leaves for college (or anywhere)…it is tough on mama and daddy!

Thank you God for the rain. Hearing and seeing those huge rain drops was truly a blessing from God. Our earth has been parched…merciful rain.
