Mollie May Hammond, 75, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 16, 1941, to the (late) Claude C. May and Mae (McNair) May.
She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She was a member of the Weathersby Baptist Church in Mendenhall.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Chris Hammond and sister, Ella Rose May.
Mollie is survived by her husband, Lester G. Hammond; two daughters; Susan Hammond; Leah Williamson (Jimmy); one brother, John Curtis May (Janice); two grandchildren, Channing Williamson and Kasey Williamson.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Weathersby Baptist Church in Mendenhall, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service. Rev. Stephen Keene will officiate. Interment will follow in the Weathersby Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
