The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at Mendenhall Jr. High School (MJH) would like to recognize two churches of the Simpson County community for their generous support of its school and students.

St. John Baptist Church in Braxton, under the leadership of Pastor Clint Perkins, and G. Grove Baptist Church in Mendenhall, under the leadership of Pastor Clarence Bryant Jr., recently provided financial support to MJH to help fund upcoming school events such as an annual banquet for all extracurricular activities, concessions, and teacher appreciation. Together, both churches donated a combined total of nearly $2,000 to the school.

“Words cannot express our sincere gratitude for their support of Mendenhall Jr. High School,” said Gloria Johnson, president of the MJH PTA.
