At approximately 8:20 Sunday night, John and Sherri Darden of Mize were traveling north on highway 49 when a truck pulling a trailer hauling a side by side lost control and hit the guard rail. The impact caused the side by side to come off the trailer.
John and Sherri were seconds behind the accident which caused the Dardens to go down an embankment. The couple was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where the couple seemed to have suffered bruises. According to their son, John Amory Darden, his parents will probably be very sore but “God was with them.”
