Mississippi Selected to Host 2025 NASS Summer Conference

JACKSON, Miss — Secretary of State Michael Watson is proud to announce Mississippi has been selected as the host site for the 2025 National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) Summer Conference.

The Conference will be held in Biloxi bringing secretaries of state and staff from across the nation to the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the four-day event.

”I’m excited our proposal to host the 2025 Summer Conference was selected by NASS leadership and can’t wait to welcome my colleagues to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to share a little of our hospitality and family fun. Not only is it a fantastic opportunity to highlight some of the best of Mississippi, but it’s also great for the local economy,” said Secretary Michael Watson.

This year’s NASS Summer Conference boasted over 400 attendees including secretaries of state, lieutenant governors, state staff, sponsors, and vendors from approximately 40 states. Conference events include sessions across a variety of topics such as elections, cybersecurity, business services, securities, and many others.

“We’re excited to bring the NASS Summer Conference to Biloxi, Mississippi in 2025! I look forward to the renowned hospitality Mississippi has to offer, as members discuss important issues facing our association and states,” said Scott Schwab, NASS President and Kansas Secretary of State.

Mississippi has previously hosted the conference twice, most recently in 1982.
