STATE FAIRGROUNDS, Miss. – The Mississippi State Fairgrounds, a division of the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce (MDAC), will be the host location for the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation’s (MFBF) annual convention as the organization celebrates its 100th anniversary. The event will be held this weekend, from Friday, December 2, until Monday, December 5, 2022.

MFBF will celebrate 100 years of faith, family and Farm Bureau during a multi-day event, which includes livestock shows, a trade show and a concert with headliner Trace Adkins. The livestock shows, featuring swine and cattle exhibitions, will be held Friday, December 2, through Sunday, December 4. The Mississippi Farm and Land Expo will showcase the latest technical information, products and innovation representing every phase of Mississippi agriculture with more than 150 exhibits inside the Mississippi Trade Mart, beginning Friday, December 2, and running through Sunday, December 4. MDAC’s own Genuine MS® Store will participate as a vendor in the trade show and visitors can expect an array of products all grown, raised, crafted and made in Mississippi.

The concert will headline country music artist Trace Adkins with special appearances by Clay Walker and Drake White. The concert will be held inside the Mississippi Coliseum on Saturday, December 3, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com.

MFBF serves as the largest general farm organization in Mississippi, providing a unified voice for farmers, ranchers and rural Mississippians. Over the years, MDAC and the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation have enjoyed a longstanding relationship, partnering often on various agriculture initiatives.
