The Andrew Jackson Council of the Boy Scouts of America will present Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves with the Distinguished Citizen Award at a dinner tonight.

The event will begin at 6:45 p.m. today at the Hilton Hotel, 1001 E. County Line Road, in Jackson. The event will include speeches by Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney, Senate Appropriations Chairman Buck Clarke and columnist Sid Salter.
