Something special is happening in Magee!

Dr. Ryan Wade of First Baptist Church of Magee, along with several other pastors, is coming together with one purpose—to love on our community and share the message of hope.

This weekend is packed with opportunities to serve others and make a difference right here at home.

On Friday, teams will be out visiting nursing homes, rehab centers, Boswell residents, and shut-ins. Just a visit, a smile, and a kind word can mean more than we ever realize.

Saturday kicks off bright and early with a Prayer Walk from 8:00–9:00 AM. Everyone will gather in the FBC parking lot and then walk throughout our city, lifting Magee up in prayer. Later in the day, groups will be set up at the 5-Way stop handing out hamburgers—just another way to show love in action!

Dr. Wade shared it best: “We want to love on the people of Magee…we want others to know we love and care.”

Then on Monday evening, the community is invited to come together for a “Night of Prayer for Magee” at Ural Everett Park on Main Street from 6:00–7:00 PM. Churches from across the area will join in this special time of prayer for our town.

I hope you’ll make plans to be a part of this weekend—whether it’s walking, serving, or simply showing up. And don’t come alone…invite someone to join you.

Because in Magee, we take care of each other !
