Hilereca Dortch Found DeadMadison County Sheriff Randy Tucker issued the following statement.
Madison County Sheriff Randy Tucker announced today that 31year-old Helerica “Latrice” Dortch, who went missing Friday afternoon wearing Domino’s Pizza attire in Canton, was found dead this morning at approximately 11:00 a.m. by Madison County deputies near the intersection of Old Yazoo City Road and Heindle Road in Madison County.
Investigators from the Madison County Sheriff’s Department and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation crime scene unit are processing the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. Updates will be provided as they become available.
Hilereca Dortch was last seen alive Friday, December 13 leaving her job at Domino’s in Canton.
On Saturday, her car was found in a field in Canton, MS. The car was hidden behind shrubbery and a vacant house.
Tuesday morning, December 17th, Hilereca’s body was found about 5 miles from her abandoned car.
Madison County Sheriff Randy Tucker should be contacted if any information is known.
