Minnie Mae O’Neal

( May 17, 1919 – September 01, 2021 )

Minnie Mae O’Neal, 102, of Florence, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at her home in Florence, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, May 17, 1919.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee. The Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee. Bro. Gary Berry will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto O’Neal; parents, John and Sarah Manning; sister, Johnny Rose (Trixie) Baggett; brothers, Robert Manning and James Manning.

Survivors include her three children, Betty Peak, Jerry O’Neal (Janice),and Dianne O’Neal Buckhalter; grandchildren, Rodney Peak, Michael Peak, Chris O’Neal (Cynthia), Jennifer O’Neal (Scott), Jody O’Neal, Jeremy Buckhalter (Alix), and Terry Joe Peak; 16 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; 3 great-great-great grandchildren; sister, Grace Berry; and host of nieces, nephews and  other family members.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Buckhalter, Landon O’Neal, Jared Scott, Rodney Peak, Terry Joe Peak, and Jerry Peak.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chris O’Neal and Matt Peak
