Mims Davis Cook, 78 of Magee, MS passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023 at his home in Magee, MS. He was born Friday, June 9, 1944 in Magee, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, MS. Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 03, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, MS. Bro. Kole Johnson and Bro. Stephen Keen will officiate. Mr. Cook loved to fish, ride motorcycles, and ride his scag lawnmower. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He was dependable and a jack of all trades. He will be greatly missed by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donice and Euna Cook; brothers, Elton Cook and D.B. Cook; sister, Shirley Mills.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ann Williams Cook; daughters, Felicia (Waylon) Kennedy and Denise Brown; grandchildren, Matt (Ashlee) Robinson, Beth (Julian) Brown-Mendez, Taylor Gates and Cassandra Kennedy; brothers, Carl Cook and Mike Cook; sisters, Ruth Welch and Joyce Rankin; great- grandchild, Isabelle Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jean- Phillip Cook, Yves Cook, Charlie Holbrook, John Williams, Robert Singley, Lawrence Cook, and Patrick Cook.
