On Sunday, November 24, 2024, at approximately 2:00 a.m., a Magee Police officer conducted a traffic stop on Highway 49 North near the VFW for careless driving. During the course of the stop, the officer identified the driver as, Emmett Miller III, whose license was suspended and failed to provide insurance. The officer also determined that Miller appeared to be under the influence of some sort.
Miller was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI 2nd, driving with a suspended drivers license and no insurance.
Miller was transported to the Magee Police Department, where he was booked and processed.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
