Mildred Mullins Watts of Monticello, Mississippi

September 24, 1931 – March 2, 2019

Ms. Mildred Mullins Watts, 87 of Monticello, MS passed away on March 2, 2019 at her residence in Monticello, MS. Mildred was born September 24, 1931 in Lawrence County, MS to William V. and Eva Holmes Mullins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello and continuing Tuesday, March 5, from 9 AM until service time at 11 AM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello with graveside services following in Monticello Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Kenneth Roberts will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mildred loved spending time with and caring for her grandchildren; attending all of their ballgames and sports activities. She enjoyed spending time in her yard, tending to her flowers and giving attention to her cat Spooky. She was a member of Monticello Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and friend.

She is survived by her son Robert Watts (Martha) of Monticello; daughter Elizabeth Ard (Robert) of Silver Creek; seven grandchildren; fifteen great- grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren; one sister Billie Ward.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy Leroy Watts; brother Charles “Dempsey” Mullins.
