Mildred Janet Shows, 91, of Mendenhall, passed from this life Friday March 10, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 13, 2017 at New Bethlehem Baptist Church. Bro. Jonathan Burnham will officiate. Burial will be in New Bethlehem Community Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.
Mrs. Shows is survivied by her Sons – Gary Shows (Donna), Magee and Rufus Shows (Cindy), Mendenhall; Sisters – Maxine Stewart , Sarah Hughes and Vernia Norris, Magee; Grandchildren – Charity Johnston (Kevin), Mendenhall, Stacey Davis (Greg), Madison, Chad Shows, Magee, Jared Shows (Kristin), East Hartland, Connecticut and Drew Shows, Magee; great- grandchildren; Callie, Tyler, Taylor, Abby, and Garrett Johnston; Shelby and Ryan Davis.
Mrs. Shows is preceded in death by her Husband – Norman Shows Parents- Eddie and Ida B Waters, Brother – Howard Waters
