Mr. Mike Butler age 69, passed away Sunday July 12th 2020 at Scott Regional Hospital in Morton, MS.

A visitation will be held at Strong Tower Church on Wednesday July 15th 2020 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Thursday July 16th from 9:00 AM until 9:50 AM. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday July 16th 2020 at Strong Tower Church at 10:00 AM. Reverend M.R. Reagan will officiate.

Mr. Butler had lived in Morton, MS since 1994 after moving from Magee, MS. He was a member of Strong Tower Church in Morton, MS. He was an avid golfer and an active church member. He loved the Lord and was known to have the patience of Job. Mr. Butler is lovingly remembered as having an infectious smile and laugh. He loved people and he never met a stranger. He was a loving husband, an excellent father and he will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Butler. He is survived by his wife, Paulette Butler; father, Lavern Butler; four children, Randy (Ilydia) Hall of Forest, MS, Robert Hall of Morton, MS, Brooke Butler of Hattiesburg, MS and Kelli (Javier) Barquero of Hattiesburg, MS; brother, Jeff Butler (Jean) of Magee, MS; sister, Judy McDonnieal ( Ronnie) of Magee, MS; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Sue note:  Mike is a 1968 graduate of Magee High School.  We went to church and school together all our lives. Live long friends are never forgotten.  I will miss my friend.

    This is a very sad note for me.I am sending Love, Light and Prayers to his Family and Friends. Mike,Gary Parker, Buz Myers, and I played a lot of games together when we were growing up. Our favorite was Football.
