On Thursday, 11/14/2024, at approximately 2:14 pm, a City of Magee employee came to the police station to report a threat made against her in relation to her duties with the city. The alleged victim stated that Michael Thomas Von Seutter confronted her in the back parking lot of the Magee Police Department and threatened her, telling her what will happen if she continued coming to his house “harassing” him.
Following her statement and signed charges, a warrant was obtained. Several officers proceeded to Von Seutter’s residence, made contact with him, removed two firearms from his person, and placed him under arrest on the charge of Simple Assault by menace to create fear. He was then transported to the Magee Police Department, where he was booked and processed.
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
Threatening a government official or any other individual will not be tolerated. If you feel genuinely harassed by any government official, the proper course of action is to take the matter to their superiors or to court. Making threats will only lead to your arrest, and we will take action on any threats made against government officials or anyone else.
