Michael Jay Runnels, 57, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020 at UMC in Jackson. He was born Sunday, March 3, 1963.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.
Graveside Services will be held Monday, August 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee. The Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Gary Roberts will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.
He was preceded in death by mother, Lillie Runnels; paternal grandparents, Barney Runnels and Emerene Kennedy; maternal grandparents, Barney and Emma Higgins.
Survivors include his father, A. J. Runnels; sister, Tammy Pierce (David Ivey)
Pallbearers will be David Stewart, Timmy Hylander, Joseph Lovelace, Danny Runnels, Adam Henderson, and Kenny Welborn.
