Michael Carl Von Seutter, age 46, passed away on October 21, 2021, at his favorite place- his shop. He was born to Carl Von Suetter and Wanda (Warren) DeGarmo on January 21, 1975, in Hattiesburg, MS.
Michael was successful in the HVAC industry. He worked for Johnson Controls and Hermetic Rush. He was sent to Germany and England to further his education in HVAC technology. He helped create solutions for heating and cooling problems while working for these two companies.
Having a shop to work on cars was a lifelong dream of his. Michael made many friends while doing this. He loved going to races, working on friend’s cars, and sharing his interest with them. He was introduced to his passion by his father and friend Mike DeGarmo. “Big Mike” taught him to ride dirt bikes in motor cross racing as a child. He continued this interest in his teens by working on hot rods with Mike. Michael was a loving son, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his parents; son, Michael Thomas Von Seutter; daughter, Kristen Von Seutter, sister, Tina Von Seutter; grandchildren, Beaux Von Seutter, Aribella Tullos, Angie Von Seutter and Stella D’Avy.
He was preceded in death by his her father, Michael L. DeGarmo.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on October 22, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS. The service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Tutor Chapel with Bro. Mark Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow at Goodwater Church Cemetery in Magee, MS.
