Several students from Magee High School Band attended USM to be part of the All South Honor Band. The students performed at the USM game Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Members participating were Katelyn Singley, Tania Clark, Tianna Clark, Aaron Freshour, Astarrie Ross, Lydia McGee, Da’Nyla Boulding, Kaylee McWilliams, Emily Wicker, Brandon Mendez, Gerson Martinez, Kati Barnard, Addison Gray, Anya Jones, and Michel Gonzalez.
The band has been working hard and practicing for upcoming contest in the near future.
Band Director Pierson Gilreath has been busy working with the musicians and rebuilding the program.
COVID has played its role with many students being quarantined and presenting challenging situations for practice and marching time.
