THE MAGEE SOCCER GOAL CLUB NEEDS YOUR HELP!!
A car wash will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at WARD’S in Magee from 11:30 until 3:00.
There is an immediate need to help with expenses for some of our soccer players who are attending a College ID camp at William Carey University this weekend.  Players will be put through drills and games as college coaches have an opportunity to observe.  Camps like this are vital to get positive exposure for our kids that can lead to college scholarships.  This can help change a student’s life.
Please come by Ward’s and have a hamburger or ice cream while your car or truck is washed.  Cost is $10 for cars and $15 for trucks and SUVs (this is for the outside & tires only).  Any and all donations tomorrow will also be accepted and very much appreciated!! (Pictured below are some of our soccer girls & boys that participated in the 7 v 7 Soccer Tournament in the State Games of Mississippi in Laurel.  Both teams played 3 games in extremely hot conditions and participated as the smallest public in the event.  Some of the girls are very young, but worked hard playing against the “A” squads of West Jones and South Jones.  the boys lost a close game against Kosciusko and held their own against West Jones “A” team.  They defeated Bayou to finish the day.  Coach Wendt is excited about the potential for the upcoming season.
