Magee High School Class of 2023 graduated Tuesday, May 23, 2023 on Trojan Field.

Graduates entered the field from the south end zone in two single file lines to their designated area in the middle of the football field. “Pomp and Circumstance” by Edward Edgar played as the graduates entered the field.

Myliah Davis, Senior Class President, gave the invocation.

Maci Parker delivered the Valedictorian address. Matthew Ehrgott gave the Salutatorian address. Gerson Martinez delivered the Historian address.

Mr. Bill Broadhead, Principal, and Mrs. Sydney Magee,  Assistant Principal, presented Diplomas to the graduates. Ms. April Williams, Counselor,  verified all candidates had met the requirements for graduation.  Mr. Broadhead presented the Class of 2023 and instructed the graduates “to turn their tassels.”

Kymiah McCann, Student Body President, led in the benediction.

Graduates exited in two single file lines to the south end zone for the traditional throwing of the caps.

Class Flower is the white rose, Blue was the class color chosen. Class motto is “In order to be your best, you have to give your best.” and Class Song chosen was  “Good Ole Days” by Macklemore

Class sponsors are:  Jada Deal, Jeffery Sanford, Kimberly McCann, and Stephanie Kennedy.

The foundation has been laid, the stepping stones are in order, the road has been a successful path thus far. Only time will tell where the road leads for the future. -Author Unknown.
