Magee High School is proud to announce English II’s (Class of 2020) outstanding book trailers.  Instead of a book report, students were to create book trailers.  Book trailers are the book form of a movie trailer.  Students could work individually or in small groups to produce book trailers that will entice readers to read their book.  A big shout out to our Magee Library for its creative idea and new spin on book reports, and a bigger shout out to all my students and their hard work.  Please check out our top book trailers:  Angry Management (by Kathryn Chapin), Fear Street (by Hang Tran), The Great Gatsby (by Kelli Newsome and Nyla Sims), The Infects (by Erik Morales and Malcolm Womack), The Shack (by Kaitlyn McCollum, Kellie McCollum, and Emily Reed), Sleepless (by Alexis Hoskins, Mya Lockett, and Jaquasia Smith), Stolen (by Jakyra Floyd, Mahagne McGee, and Danah McNair), and Wake (by Myshia Davis and Amelia Dudley). – Pamela Rodgers Plunkett.
