The Magee High School National Art Honor Society students spent a day creating blown glass artworks on Wednesday. Mohawk Steel and Glass in Hattiesburg, MS is an art venue owned by Jeremy Thomley and Daniel Bell. Mohawk Steel and Glass offers glass blowing instruction for a variety of items. The Magee Art Students created their own blown glass Christmas ornaments. It was very ‘hands on’ and the students actively participated in creating each artwork. They were also given the opportunity to cut their names out of steel using a plasma cutter.

Students attending were: Morgan McRaney, Madi May, Soumya Middleton, Kyeasha Graves, Amber Cole, Sebe Leggett, Josh Fairchild, Seth Martinere, Calder Reed, Dalton Goldman, Maleah McColloch, Owen McCool, Peyton Barnard, Kyle Brister, and Mrs. Kathy Gibson, Sponsor.
