Mrs. Lucy Cowart, mother of Danny Cowart, died during the night Tuesday. Mrs. Lucy celebrated her 83 birthday Sunday, November 12th. Funeral and visitation will be in Lucedale. Danny and his family have been so attentive to their mother/grandmother. No matter how old, it is tough when you loose your mother. Prayers for the family.

Mrs. Lila Lee McRight, mother of Lila Neely, died Tuesday. Mrs. Lila is best known, to me, as the Southern Belle Queen of Ole Miss. Mrs. Lila has been featured in several Ole Miss promotions. She was a cheerleader while at Ole Miss and Miss Ole Miss…and I’m just saying, she never quit cheering for her Rebels.
The Library has a Salvation Army Angel Tree. Twenty “angels” need adopting. Stop by the Magee Public Library for details. A great way to give back during the Christmas season. There is no fee to adopt an angel. On the Angel paper is listed clothing sizes and wishes for presents. Items need to be returned UNWRAPPED to the Magee Library by December 11th.
