I just realized…I don’t write a lot of “messages” anymore!  I just may have to change that situation!

The Booth family is so heavy on my mind.  Magee is praying for this special family.  I don’t think there have been a lot of changes…prayers are needed.

Continued prayers for Mrs. Helen Bishop who fell and broke her hip and leg earlier in the week.  Hopefully, surgery will take place today (Thursday).  Mrs. Helen is one sweet sweet lady who needs our prayers.

Claudine May, wife of James May, is still in UMC following an accident which caused her leg to break.  Claudine’s leg has still not been set because so many breathing problems have occurred.  Wednesday, fluid was drawn off her lungs twice.  Please remember this precious family.

Can ya’ll believe this wind??? I was shocked when I decided to venture out this morning!  Also, we have that Easter cool snap that our grandparents always told us.  I’m loving this sunshine which allows for ferns, blooming flowers, and bulbs!  One thing for sure, just remember that the wind can do as much damage to a fern as the cold…keep them protected!  Enjoy these days!

Magee is filled with election signs.  I’m just saying, if you put them out…then plan to pick them up!  Don’t forget citizens of Magee will be voting for a new mayor on May 2nd.  All 3 mayoral candidates are running Republican.

MageeNews.com is sponsoring a Political Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, April 25th at the Magee Community House beginning at 6.  Everyone is invited…no cost…just a good time to listen to what the candidates have to say.  Please, send questions for your candidate to Sue@mageenews.com  The Town Hall meeting will be live streamed on MageeNews.com and archived for later viewing.  All three mayoral candidates will be in attendance.  The majority of the alderman candidates will be on hand…so we should have a “good ole time!”  Don’t forget:  Send your questions!  Don’t forget:   no cost to speak at the Town Hall Meeting!  Contact Sue or Patrice for more details (601-849-3159 or 601-310-6881). Candidates will be allowed to “set up tables” in front of the Community House before the meeting.  Come meet your candidates!

Hope everyone has a good weekend!
