Merry Christmas my dear friends! I hope each of you has a blessed Christmas Day. Treasure each moment and keep on smiling!
All during the month of December, we were going to make our “Christmas card” picture…but we could never get together! I imagine that is the same thing that happened to many.
I decided I would tell each person who works with me why I love them and why they are so special!
To Patrice: I love Patrice because she always has my back. I love Patrice because she always tries to keep me straight. I love Patrice because she thinks outside the box. I love Patrice because she is dedicated, loyal and plans! These are just a few of the reasons I love her! I also love her husband because he is the smartest “can do anything man” I have ever known…and nothing seems to ruffle his feathers!
To Michael: Although I am going to fire you everyday, I do truly love you! You are willing to drive my car anywhere at anytime. You will go to the grocery store for me. You will go to Walmart for me. You will get those TVs running no matter the situation. You can run a camera. You can take pictures…you just will not be in front of the camera. I love you because I know beyond a shadow of a doubt you will protect me! I love you because you will put up with me which sure says a lot! I love you because you love the fire department.
To Sarah: I love you because you are smart. I love you because you can spell. I love you because you understand computers and are not afraid of them. I love you because you are you! …a girl with a goal…a girl with a purpose…a girl who loves others. I love you because you can wrap presents and keep me organized!
To Charlie: Oh wow, we’ve been at this a long time. I love you because you are so very talented. I love you because you can design great ads. I love you because you are so smart and blessed with a writing ability few process. I love you because you love the Lord and want everyone to go to Africa. (God told me I didn’t need to go…I could stay in Magee and do His work!)…I love you because you can manage 4 children even if you don’t stay sane. I love you because you have a wonderful husband. Through the good and the bad, you have a vision for me and MageeNews. Thank you for pushing me through this dream.
To Brandon: I think everyone already knows all the reasons I love you! But one more reason is that you are going to marry Avarie which makes me very happy. I love you because you are dependable and can see the entire picture! Even though you are now almost “grown up,” I know you will never leave me!
To Jason: I love you because you are always looking for things we can cover! I love you because you seek more with your job…you are looking for ways to expand and cover items for MageeNews and Local News Online. I love you because I can call or text and you’ll take care of the problem! I love you because you are organized. I love you because you are a true and dear friend.
To Diane: I love you because I can text you all hours of the night or day and ask you what somebody’s name is because I can’t remember. I love you because you will haul me all over the county and state to cover MageeNews stories. I love you because I can always depend on you!
To You: I love you, our readers, because of your loyalty and desire to make MageeNews better with suggestions. Your faithfulness is appreciated more than you can ever imagine. Thank you for making 2017 another great year!
