Merle Sullivan Herrington, Magee, MS

Merle Sullivan Herrington, 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, in Magee. She was born on April, 08, 1944, to the (late) Houston Sullivan and (late) Mattie (Robbins) Sullivan.

Mrs. Herrington, a retired secretary, and home maker, made her life in Magee, Mississippi. She was wed to Mr. Bobby N. Herrington and together they had three children.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby N, Herrington; son, Charles (Susan) Herrington; daughters, Cynthia Leigh (Paul) Lawrence; sisters, Fannie Butler and Sara Sullivan; and two grandchildren, Hailey Lawrence and Seth Lawrence.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Herrington; brothers, Wilton Sullivan, Frank Sullivan, Stanley Ray Sullivan, and Charles Sullivan.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home of Magee. Services are scheduled for Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Goodwater Baptist Church in Magee. There will be a one hour visitation prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Goodwater Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Goodwater Baptist Church Building Fund.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
