Jones College and WDAM-TV honor Top of Class 2024

ELLISVILLE- Jones College recently hosted WDAM-TV’s annual Top of Class recognition program, honoring the Valedictorians and Salutatorians from 45 high schools in the Pine Belt. Mendenhall High School Valedictorian Joseph Smith and Salutatorian Annalyse Floyd participated in this year’s celebration at Jones College.

WDAM-TV news/weather personalities Ellie Davis, Ryan Mahan and Brandy McGill, along with Jones College administrators, Dr. Finee’ Ruffin and Dr. Tessa Flowers were photographed with the area’s valedictorians and salutatorians to commemorate the special event held at Jones College. The group of nearly 100 high school students were celebrated with a day of recognition including breakfast, entertainment and inspiring comments from WDAM-TV News Director, Emily Forrester and Jones College President, Dr. Jesse Smith.
