We congratulated ALL the players, Mendenhall and Stone. What I did not agree on was the disrespect the PARENTS showed by singing na-na-na-na, hey, hey, goodbye. What if Stone had done that if Mendenhall had lost? The loss hurt but we were gracious and said job well done. Imagine the pain that chant caused to juveniles who were already in tears. I am from Colorado and our athletic associations would never let that slide, they would be sanctioned for disrespect in the stands. Might want to tell the Parents to not act like children and actually listen to the announcer when he said the teams will be sanctioned if the folks in the stands act out.
