Mendenhall Fire department was dispatched to a 2 story house fire at the intersection of Peacemaker and S. Main St… Mendenhall fire requested mutual aid from Braxton fire and Magee fire department. Mendenhall Fire responded one engine one tanker. Braxton responded with one engine, one tanker. Magee responded one engine, one tanker and chief vehicle to S. Main Street fire.

Units made defensive attack on the structure due to the structure integrity.  Simpson County Sheriff Department and Covington County Hospital assisted.  The home was a complete loss.  No one was injured.

Cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
