Two Mendenhall High School students, Lila Hanna and Dean Dickinson, were selected to attend the University of Mississippi APEX Leadership Summit this summer.
The program is a three day event for Rising Seniors focusing on leadership development, team building, and sessions covering ethics and social responsibility. Participants participate in the Revel Challenge Ropes Course, community outreach projects, and informational meetings with various academic programs. Selection to this program is on a competitive basis.
Lila and Dean reported that they enjoyed their time at Ole Miss.
