Mendenhall High School hosted Freshman Academy June 4-8 for Simpson Central and Mendenhall Junior High students who will enter high school as ninth graders in the fall of 2018. The students attended classes each day for three hours, participating in hands-on activities, writing and study skills, cooperative learning, socialization skills, and ACT Prep. On June 8 students visited the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg to promote Mendenhall High School’s Commitment to Graduate program. C2G encourages students to strive for a high school diploma and set goals for the next stage of life.
