Mendenhall Elementary 2nd grade FLAG students recently took a field trip to the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science in Jackson. The second graders located owls native to Mississippi in the museum. They also dissected owl pellets during their visit so they could learn the diet of each owl. This trip was in conjunction with the group’s owl unit of study.
