Mendenhall Tigers will enter on to the field Friday, August 25, 2017 with pride leaving their new field house.
The ribbon cutting was held Friday morning before the 1st home game at the new facility.
I can honestly say this is the cleanest smelling locker room I have ever visited. I know the cleanliness is due to the fact of being new and after tonight’s game that will not be the case! But, serious the boys have a nice place to dress and work out.
A large media room is located inside the building. 
A room with two fold out tables, ice machine, and sink is available for the trainers to work on injured players.
On the north end of the filed house is a large open room with rubber flooring. This room will serve as the weight room. Weights are schedule to be moved next week. Bathrooms and water fountains are located inside the weight room area.
A larger open foyer is located in the middle of the building. 
The head coach’s office is located just inside the foyer.
The wait has finally become a reality for the much needed facility.
Seeing Simpson County Schools growing and developing in many areas is a blessing to everyone.
