During the month of October, gifted students at Mendenhall Elementary coordinated a canned food drive for the Salvation Army to distribute to those in need.
The school collected more than 700 cans this year. Shown in the picture collecting cans are Caleb Houchen, Malekih Harkey, Leighton Swalm, Ethan Layton, Alli Pullens, and Wesley Brown.
