She was born on September 30, 1964, to her parents, the late Perry (Buddy) Grammer and Betty (Crouch) Grammer in Ruleville, MS.
She is survived by her husband, Gilton (Buster) McCarty; mother, Betty Grammer; sons, Shelton Wood (Amy), Gilton McCarty Jr. (LaShea), Hunter McCarty (Morgan); sister, Tammy Woodard (Cris); six grandchildren, Mackenzie and Karlee Wood, Kaston, Kalli, Kaelyn and Karoline McCarty.
Along with her father, she was preceded by a husband, Shelton Wood and brother, David Grammer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019, from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2019, at 11:00 am at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Interment will follow in Sharon Presbyterian Cemetery in Magee.
