Jakyra Keionna A’reaun Floyd is an 18 year old Senior at Magee High School. Floyd’s parents are JAMES and LEKESHA FLOYD, owners of J&K PAINT AND BODY SHOP, of Magee MS. Floyd has two brothers, James and Jamarious Floyd.
Floyd is an Honor Roll Student with a current 3.3 GPA. She is a Dual Enrollment Scholarship Recipient for the 2019-2020 school year.
I have previously received the following honors: ACT Workkeys NCRC Bronze Award(01/2019); Business Management Student/Employee of the Month(09/2018); and the Business Management Academic Excellence Award(05/2018).
Floyd’s hobbies include swimming, skating, and bowling. I also enjoy singing, eating, and my dad spoiling me and my mom by paying for our mother/daughter spa day together.
On my bucket list, I have 4 things I would love to do. The first 3 things are parachute skydiving from an airplane, riding in an hot air ballon, and bungee jumping in New Zealand. Even though I’ve been on a cruise to Nassau, Bahamas and flew to Montego Bay, Jamaica with my parents, my biggest dream on my bucket list is visiting the Serengeti National Park (safari) in Africa with my dad simply because he has always wanted to go and I’m a daddy’s girl. In fact, I’m the only girl. That would be an awesome bucket-list adventure with my dad!
After high school, I plan to pursue studies at Copiah-Lincoln Community College leading toward a BSN Degree from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS that will lead to a career as a Pediactic Nurse and possibly later becoming a Forensic Nurse since I also have an interest in Criminal Justice.
