The City of Magee is pleased to welcome Evan Jones as the city’s new Zoning and Code Enforcement Director.

Jones officially began his duties on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, and is already looking forward to serving the community. He shared that he is excited to step into the role and eager to meet and work with the citizens of Magee.

In his position, Jones will oversee zoning matters and code enforcement efforts, working to help maintain the safety, appearance, and orderly development of the city. He will also work closely with the Magee Zoning Board and other city departments to ensure local ordinances and regulations are followed.

Jones’ office is located at Magee City Hall, where residents can contact him with zoning questions, code concerns, and related matters.

City officials are proud to welcome Jones to the municipal team and look forward to the contributions he will make in serving Magee.
