CAPTION: Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) enforcement officers joined forces with the Bassfield Police Department and Mississippi Highway Patrol to manage traffic control Thursday, April 16, in Bassfield. This area was severely impacted by the recent Easter weekend tornadoes. Enforcement officers set up overnight checkpoints throughout damaged areas to prevent looting and help families returning to their affected properties.
