WHEN:      Sunday, December 15th

HOW:       (UPDATE) One lane of traffic will be blocked due to the Gulf Coast Marathon. The event is from East Scenic Drive – Caillavet Street on U.S. Highway 90 from Pass Christian to Biloxi. Cities will open lanes as final runner passes through.

  • The City of Pass Christian will close ALL westbound lanes of traffic on U.S. 90 between Espy Ave. and Fort Henry St. from 6am until 9am.
  • The City of Gulfport will close one eastbound lane on U.S. 90 between East Scenic Dr. and Caillavet St. from 6am until 12pm. BOTH eastbound lanes will be closed in Gulfport for the start of the half marathon from 6am-8am.
  • The City of Biloxi will close traffic at U.S. Highway 90 at the ramp to I-110 from 10am until 12pm. Motorists traveling southbound on I-110 are advised to detour at the Bayview Ave. exit 1D.

Law enforcement will be on scene detouring traffic. Local traffic should find an alternate route. Motorists are reminded to be on high alert. Stay updated with live travel information by downloading the MDOT Traffic app or by visiting MDOTTraffic.com.
