 Residents of Magee,
I would like to take a moment to commend the Chief of Police for the job he is doing for our City!
When the board hired the current Chief of Police for Magee, Denis Borges, we agreed that he was the right fit for our City. He has since, brought a level of dedication, leadership, and innovation that has truly transformed our department and strengthened our community. In just a short time, he has implemented new programs, enhanced officer training, secured vital resources, and worked tirelessly to improve public safety.
Under his leadership, we have seen improved technology, increased community development as well as a focus on officer development, ensuring that our police force is well equipped and well trained to serve Magee at the highest standard.
He has taken proactive steps to secure grants, improve department efficiency and enhance officer safety, all while maintaining a strong commitment to transparency and accountability.
His dedication to strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the community has been evident in every initiative he has pursued.
Thank you, Chief Borges, for your hard work and unwavering commitment to making Magee a better and safer place!
Sincerely,
Mark Grubbs
Alderman Ward 1
