Maxine Warren Hodge, 87 of Mendenhall, MS passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at the Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, September 9, 1936 in Smith County, Mississippi.

   Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, MS. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Dry Creek Baptist Church in Magee. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Dry Creek Baptist Church in Magee, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Bro. Joe Metts, Ron Moseley, and Shelby Colson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031.

   She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Joseph (Jack) Warren;  husband, Richard  Hodge; sons, Daniel  Warren, Joseph  Warren, James “Pete”  Warren, Tim  Warren, Mark  Warren;  parents, Olyer  Moseley and Earline  Henderson  Moseley;  brothers, Ray  Moseley, Claude  Moseley and Charles  Moseley;  sisters, Doris  Craft, Delaine  Russell, Willie  Maria  Moseley, and infant baby.

   Survivors include her sons, Paul  Warren  (Sandra), Steve  Warren  (Darlene), Thomas  Warren, Ben  Warren  (Stacy ), Michael  Warren  (Susan ), Ted  Warren  (Brenda) and Neal  Warren  (Chassity );  daughter, Sarah  Jordan  (Wesley Hollan) of Mendenhall, MS; 36 grandchildren; 42  great-grandchildren; 2 great- great- grandchildren,  sisters, Elaine  Garner and Linda  Womack.
