Maxie Henderson Bruce Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxie Henderson Bruce Jr. of Waynesboro, Mississippi, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on August 19, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxie Henderson Bruce, Sr. and Sara Conerly Bruce; his wife Charlotte Martiniere Bruce; and his sister Melody Bruce Musgrove.
He is survived by: his children, Ryan Bruce (Brandy) of Hattiesburg, MS, Stacie Bruce Scott (Will) of Houston, MS, Brooke Bruce Ward (John Robert) of Laurel, MS and Brittney Bruce McAfee (Matt) of Starkville, MS; and his grandchildren, Carter Scott, Lee Scott, Gracie Bruce, Sophie Bruce, Bayleigh Bruce, Keagan Ward, Cole Ward, Reese McAfee and Sally McAfee.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bridgeway Church (181 Tatum Rd, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, August 22nd 2024 at the Shubuta Cemetery.
