Mavis Carmichael, 55, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June, 5 2018 in Mendenhall. She was born Monday, December 31, 1962.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. The Burial will follow in Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Braxton. Bro. Michael Giles will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Stewart; son, Randy Traylor; step-father, Charlie Foster; brother, Tommy Stewart (Shelia).

Survivors include her mother, Elizabeth Foster; son, Brandon Mitchell; sister, Mary Martin (Mike); brothers, Kenny Stewart (Patty) and Buddy Stewart (Libby); a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Stewart, Kenny Stewart, Brandon Mitchell, David Mitchell, Austin Creel, and Taylor Martin.
