Mary Teresa Donohoe Beech, 90, of Mendenhall, MS passed away Tuesday, July 04, 2017 at Brandon Court NH in Brandon, MS. She was born Saturday, July 17, 1926 in Tucker, MS.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 08, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 08, 2017 at 11:30 AM at St Stephens Catholic Church in Magee, MS. Burial will follow in Mendenhall City Cemetery. Father Tom De Wane will officiate. Mary Teresa attended elementary school in Tucker, Neshoba County, MS, grades 1-7. She graduated high school from St. Mary of the Pines in Chatawa, MS in 1945. She attended Miller Hawkins Business College for two years in Memphis, TN. Mary Teresa was a bookkeeper for auto dealership in Hattiesburg, MS for two years.
While living in Mendenhall, Larry and Mary Teresa were members of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Magee, Ms. She was a member of the school board. She also worked at St. Catherine’s Retirement Home until her retirement in January 1997.
Survivors include her Son, Stan Stiglets (Mary), Simsboro, LA; Daughter, Susan Harms (Richard), Huntington, NY; Son, Larry Beech, Jr. (Lisa), Jackson, MS; along with ten Grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Father, James Augustus “Gus” Donohoe; Mother, Mary Gertrude Holland Donohoe; Son, Charles Francis Stiglets; Siblings, Ave Marie Donohoe, Kathleen Anna Donohoe, Leocadia Agnes Donohoe, Mary Gertrude Donohoe, James Alice Donohoe, Mary Angela Donohoe, John Patrick Donohoe, Henry Earl Donohoe, Charles Holland Donohoe.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Caruso, Chase Caruso, Robert Stiglets, Cole Stiglets, Michael Toth, Matt Jones.
